By law, growers must present proof of certification for private pesticide application, including certification number and expiration date, before Federated can sell or release restricted use pesticides to growers or applicators.

For growers who choose to spray dicamba products (Engenia®, Fexapan®, Xtendimax®), there is an annual training requirement to spray these products (above and beyond the traditional restricted use pesticide training and certification).
