By law, growers must present proof of certification for private pesticide application, including certification number and expiration date, before Federated can sell or release restricted use pesticides to growers or applicators.

Check now to ensure your certification is current (not expired) to avoid application and/or purchase delays this spring.

Both the Minnesota and Wisconsin Departments of Agriculture provide the training and exams for RUP certification. Check these websites for more information:

For Minnesota residents.

For Wisconsin residents.

For growers who choose to spray dicamba products (Engenia®, Fexapan®, Xtendimax®), there is an annual training requirement to spray these products (above and beyond the traditional restricted use pesticide training and certification). This training is now available online for those who didn’t get the training at a local meeting this year. Follow this link for online training.
